Abernethy Chapel Weddings, Oregon City Oregon

On March 21st, 2026, the Ivory Creek team had the deep blessing of witnessing and celebrating one of the most meaningful days of Will and Natalie’s lives. It was an honor to document their story in both photography and videography.

The sun was warm, the light was golden, and Abernethy Chapel glowed as if it had been waiting for this exact day. The morning began with intimate getting ready moments in their respective suites. Will and Natalie chose to share a private first touch outside the chapel doors before the ceremony, a tender moment just between the two of them and the words written for one another.

When the doors opened and Natalie began walking toward Will on the arm of her father, there was not a dry eye in the room. Will’s reaction said everything words couldn’t.

What made this ceremony so uniquely theirs was the intentionality woven throughout. A bridesmaid led the room in live acoustic worship during a moment of communion and praise. When a wedding stops being an event and becomes a genuine act of worship and covenant, it’s something you feel and take with you long after the day is over.

The celebration continued across the street at Abernethy’s reception space, where the evening moved beautifully between tears and laughter with heartfelt special dances and humorous wedding party toasts. Will and Natalie were so clearly surrounded by people who love them deeply, and that love filled every corner of the room. The night ended under the stars with a send-off that was a perfect depiction of the joy and excitement that had filled the day.

Will and Natalie, thank you for trusting us with your story. You were a joy to serve, and the love you have for each other and for the people in that room made our job feel less like work and more like a gift. We are rooting for you both always.
