Kyle is the lead photographer and owner of Ivory Creek. Outside of photography, you'll likely find him reading a John Mark Comer book with lofi playing in the backround. Dedicated to a Sabbath every Wednesday, he also enjoys slowing down and embracing stillness.

Olivia is the co-owner and photographer, also working as an RN in Portland. She enjoys cozy nights with Kyle, trying new recipes, and painting, puzzles, and gardening. Olivia wears many talented hats, including being a new mom!

Drawn to the relational side of photography and the chance to serve more couples in a team environment, he stepped into the Ivory Creek story—and we couldn’t be more grateful to have him.
He serves as a YoungLife leader at his former high school and is deeply rooted in his faith community at Grace Chapel in Wilsonville.

Balancing being a wedding photographer along with being a full time doctoral student is Katie's every day. She also enjoys playing guitar, hiking, and binging a new Netflix series. Ask her about her Bernese mountain pup, Chef!

What began in 2019 as “Kyle Shawn Photography”—just a guy with a camera and a heart for people—slowly grew into something much bigger.
By 2023, I (Kyle) married Olivia and knew I wanted to bring her into this work we now call ministry. We rebranded as Ivory Creek Photography, a husband and wife team with a shared passion for capturing covenant love with intention and reverence.
Our first fully booked summer in 2024 reminded us that when you walk in obedience, God brings the increase. We can't wait to see what He has in store next.
While Kyle & Olivia take on a limited number of weddings each year, we’re grateful to have an incredible associate team—Katie and Gabe—who are equally gifted in capturing sacred, joy-filled moments.
Every couple who works with them is still fully supported by the Ivory Creek experience: we personally oversee all communication, relationship-building, and editing, so the final gallery reflects the same heart, quality, and intentionality we’re known for.
