Shortly after getting married in 2023, Kyle & Olivia became the husband and wife photo team you know today. Fueled by getting to know new friends and telling their love story, we strive to adopt a heart of service, giving you the amazing photography experience that you deserve.

Kyle is the lead photographer and owner, with a passion for serving others. When he doesn't have a camera in hand, he enjoys exercising and trying new recipes in the kitchen. Kyle also loves treating clients to a favorite local bite!

Olivia is the co-owner and photographer, also working as an RN in Portland. When she’s not capturing moments, she enjoys cozy nights with Kyle, trying new recipes, and painting. Olivia wears many talented hats, including new mom!

Katie joined Ivory Creek in 2024, bringing her passion for capturing beautiful moments. A Doctor of Physical Therapy student in Newberg, she enjoys playing guitar, pickleball, and game nights with loved ones.

HOW IT STARTED
The photography journey began as “Kyle Shawn Photography” back in 2019. Kyle was pursuing a solo business of couples portraits, and later got into the wedding scene that same year.
Fast forward to 2023, and we finally got hitched! Wanting Olivia to join in on the beautiful art of capturing weddings, we rebranded into what you know today as Ivory Creek Photography.
Our first fully booked summer of 2024 was nothing short of exciting, and we cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for us next!
In the Winter of 2024, Katie was brought onto the Ivory Creek Team. With our clientele circle growing with more and more inquiries coming to our inbox, there was an increasing amount of couples that we want to serve, but didn’t have the capacity to. That is where Katie comes in!
Katie mirrors the same strong faith and passion to serve others that Ivory Creek values, all while capturing your precious moments in the form of stunning photos.
Katie currently studies as a Doctor of Physical Therapy student in Newberg. Her journey behind the lens started with a childhood fascination inspired by her dad, and it has grown into a love of creating timeless images to remember life’s most precious moments.
